• Question: What's your favourite star?

      RS Puppis, not only because it sounds like “puppies” and I find it hilarious but also because it’s a really stunning star!

      It’s one of the brightest of our galaxy, and since its light it’s variable it can be used in astrophysics to calculate distances in the universe (when the parallax method doesn’t work any more!)

      The sun!
      It gives us the energy in our planet, it gives us a nice tan, and it doesn’t shine as often as I would like up in the UK 🙂
