• Question: Have there ever been times where you have regretted choosing Science as an occupation?

      Yes – it doesn’t matter what you do, everybody has doubts about their choices sometimes. I am currently going through a difficult time with my work, and have had thoughts about how I could have done things differently… But at the end of the day, I always think about how fascinating my job is 99% of the time, and the great things I have experienced from this career, and I don’t think I’d change any of it.

      Yes, there were times of huge frustration when the study was hard, or nothing was working out in the lab, and everything felt stressful and I honestly thought “maybe I’m just not good enough for this thing”.
      Every time, when I look back, I’m glad I didn’t give up, though.
