I enjoy traveling the world a lot, but I’m really really bad at picking favourites! It all depends on what one is looking for. Denmark is definitely on my top list of a beautiful place where I would love to live. My home country, Brazil, has the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. I have walked up Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and besides the breathtaking nature, the people are so lovely and helpful! I spend half of my time in Switzerland and I am a big fan of the mountains, lakes and cheese combination. The whole world is beautiful in its own way, and all of it is worth a visit 🙂
I love travelling so much. I love experiencing new cultures and seeing how diverse people are all over the world. Because of this, I am particularly fond of Japan, and Tokyo is probably my favourite place which I have visited. There is so much there to see and do, so much life crammed in, and it is so different to life over here. However, I also have to agree with Flavia about mountains, I love mountains so much, I can’t explain why… Someday I’d like to visit mount Fuji near Tokyo – best of both worlds!
There are few things that I like less than travelling!
My best trip was a 10 days trip in Prague and Czech Republic 4 years ago, it was all leisure and not at all science related! I highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you’re up to take the train and explore a bit!
The best science related one is probably the one to Goettingen (centre of Germany) that I did a couple of years ago with my research group from Denmark, we went by car and it was HILARIOUS in so many ways!
