I can easily think of the Etna volcano in Italy, though, it erupts at least once a year basically! It’s not really dangerous though…
Krakatoa in Indonesia had one of the worst recent eruptions in 1883 – it was absolutely devastating, causing massive tsumanis which killed something like 3000 people. It’s currently building up again as a new island called Anak Krakatoa (which means Child of Krakatoa).
However, if you’re looking for the worst potentially active volcano, the supervolcano under Yellowstone National Park is by far the biggest, and last erupted around 640,000 years ago. When that bad boy erupts, it won’t just wipe out the majority of the U.S., but it would cause massive global climate change…I certainly wouldn’t want to be around for that one!
