Hmmmm this is a tricky one. Not so sure about galaxies (though Andromeda, our closest neighbour, is pretty cool), but my favourite nebula is the horse-head nebula 🙂

Is it for me as well? Can I answer as well? 😀

My favourite galaxy is Messier 83, but in general I think that spiral galaxies are the best thing ever!

      I will chip in too!

I like spiral galaxies, because they are beautiful.

However, my favourite galaxy-like stuff is not one – but two bunches of them – which together are called the Bullet Cluster. They are two colliding clusters of galaxies, one smaller subcluster, moving away from the larger one. Gravitational lensing studies of the Bullet Cluster are claimed to provide the best evidence to date for the existence of dark matter! And dark matter is really cool, although we still have no idea what is made of, or why it is there.
